The great outdoors is calling...

Boating
Moon Bay Harbor is located on the north shore of beautiful Lake Barkley only four miles from the free-flowing canal which connects Lake Barkley to Kentucky Lake. The two lakes combined create the largest undivided body of man-made lakes in the world, and offer hundreds of secluded bays for your enjoyment. Lake Barkley is known by frequent visitors as "Pontoon Paradise". Due to its “S” shape at Moon Bay Harbor, it’s hard for the wind to get unmanageable from any direction.

Fishing & Hunting
Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley are known as the hunting and fishing capital of the world. The area is known for spring bass and crappie fishing and host World Tour tournaments. Lesser known fishery resources are the excellent summer white bass fishing, bluegill, and catfish during the May and June spawns. We are also within eight miles of both Barkley and Kentucky Dams which offer some of the finest rockfish (ocean striper) fishing in America during July and August. Sauger fishing below both dams is excellent during January, February and March. The hunting is ideal for deer, turkey, waterfowl and small game.

Sailing
Kentucky Lake has been known by the in crowd as unquestionably the finest sailing between the Great Lakes and the Gulf of Mexico. Moon Bay Harbor, located only four miles from Kentucky Lake, offers an abundance of deep year round water for those sailors who choose to stay close.
